The bit cuts only on its edge, which reduces cutting time and leaves you with a cut-out core of material. Since it’s hollow, the Milwaukee core bit has a maximum cutting depth of 4-3/8 inches. You get a hole with a diameter of 3-1/2 inches so you can run pipe, drains vents or conduit through concrete.
